Made in Metal

We first came across UK custom builders Made in Metal when they put one of their bikes up for sale on ebay. Turning a Ducati Supersport into a cafe racer isn't easy due to the V-shaped frame which fights against the flat tank & seat line found in a traditional cafe racer shape, but more and more builders are turning to Ducs because they are lightweight, well, specced, and have lots of interchangeable components between models.
These first two MIM build are reminiscent of Union's custom bikes, with imola style faring and monotone paint. The Braced swingarm, monoshock and trellis frame provide strength and light weight, and you can assume they bikes go around corners as well as anything out there on the road - and they look stunning.
